This Privacy Policy explains how Mood Track: Daily Mood Tracker (the "App"), operated by Randova Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App and related support pages on randovasolutions.net.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Introduction
Mood Track is a daily wellbeing and mood-tracking app. It helps you reflect on how you feel and how everyday habits may relate to your mood. Mood Track is a general lifestyle tool — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
This policy describes what information the App may store or process, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to users of the Mood Track iOS application and visitors to related support, privacy, and terms pages on randovasolutions.net.
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under local law).
3. Information Mood Track stores
Mood Track does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not operate a custom backend for your mood journal.
Most information you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. Depending on how you use Mood Track, this may include:
- Daily mood ratings and related wellbeing inputs (such as energy, motivation or drive, and stress)
- Sleep-related inputs you provide
- Movement or training inputs you provide
- Nutrition and alcohol inputs you provide
- Sunlight-related inputs you provide
- Daily Mood Scores, pillar scores, and generated progress information
- Streak information and calendar history
- Daily mission completion and related app state
- Reminder and notification preferences
- Other in-app settings and preferences
This information is provided by you. You control what you enter. Deleting the App from your device generally removes locally stored App data, subject to platform backup behaviour described below.
4. Apple Health data
Apple Health integration is optional. Mood Track does not require Apple Health to use core daily check-in features.
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App may read information you authorise through Apple's HealthKit permissions, such as:
- Sleep data
- Step count
- Workouts
- Weight
- Resting heart rate
This information is used to support App functionality — for example, to help populate or inform derived Mood Track information shown to you in the App. Based on the current App architecture, HealthKit data is processed and stored on your device as part of the App experience. We do not upload your HealthKit data to Randova servers.
Mood Track does not use HealthKit data for advertising, and does not sell HealthKit data. You can change or revoke Health permissions at any time in the iOS Health app or in Mood Track settings.
Do not use Mood Track or Apple Health data as a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have health concerns, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
5. Purchases and RevenueCat
Mood Track offers optional Mood Track Pro subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We use RevenueCat as a service provider to help manage in-app purchase status and subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may process information such as:
- An anonymous app user identifier
- Purchase and subscription status
- Transaction-related information needed to validate entitlements and support restore purchases
- Relevant technical information (for example device and operating system information, and timestamps related to purchase validation)
RevenueCat processes data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple also processes purchase-related data under Apple's privacy terms. You manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
6. Notifications
Mood Track can send local reminders to help you complete daily check-ins. These are scheduled on your device. We do not use a push-notification provider or custom notification backend for Mood Track at this time.
You can enable or disable notifications in Mood Track settings and in your device notification settings.
7. How information is used
We use information to:
- Provide daily mood tracking, scoring, missions, progress views, and calendar history
- Save your preferences and reminder settings on your device
- Validate and manage Mood Track Pro subscriptions through Apple and RevenueCat
- Respond to support requests you send us by email
- Operate, maintain, and improve the App
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
Mood Track does not use third-party advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs, or analytics SDKs in the current App version described by this policy.
8. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App, including Apple (App Store / StoreKit) and RevenueCat (subscription management), only as needed for those services.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
9. Data retention
Mood and wellbeing information you enter generally remains on your device until you delete it or remove the App.
If you email us for support, we retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.
Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase and entitlement records according to their own retention practices and legal requirements.
10. Deleting App data
You can delete locally stored Mood Track data by deleting the App from your device. If your device uses encrypted backups (for example iCloud Backup or device migration), your platform provider may include App data in backups according to your settings. We do not control those systems.
Revoking Apple Health permissions stops future HealthKit reads but does not by itself delete information already stored in the App.
11. Children's privacy
Mood Track is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age is required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a consumer wellbeing app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective and last updated dates above. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
